How much does hemming cost?
We offer two hemming options for our dress trousers:
- Plain Hem (no cuff): $10 USD / $12 CAD per trouser
- Cuffed Hem: $12 USD / $15 CAD per trouser
Plain vs. Cuffed: What’s the difference?
Plain Hem: A clean, straight finish with no cuff. This is the most common and versatile option. It’s simple and sharp, ideal for more formal suits or anyone looking for a streamlined look.
Cuffed Hem: Also known as Permanent Turn-Ups (PTUs), cuffs add a bit of weight to the leg opening. These are best suited for more casual fabrics, like flannel or tweed, and are not usually recommended for formal or black tie looks.
How long does it take?
Please allow 5-7 business days for hemming before your order ships. We’ll always do our best to keep it moving quickly, but there may be slight delays during busy times.
Can I return hemmed trousers?
Hemmed trousers are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Be sure to double check your inseam length before adding hemming to your order. If it is your first time ordering, we recommend trying the trousers on first before requesting hemming, just to make sure the fit and length are right for you. Once the trousers are altered, they can’t be returned or adjusted. Feel free to email us at support@roweandtaylor.com if you have any questions.
